1、后接动名词规则不同
worthy 后不能直接跟名词、代词或动名词，若要接，应借助介词 of。
例句：Their efforts are worthy of your support.
他们的努力应得到你的支持。
worthwhile 后接动名词或不定式均可。
例句：It is worthwhile buying the dictionary.
这本词典值得买。
2、写法不同
有时可将worthwhile分开写，此时也可在其中加上one‘s，而worthy没有这一用法。
例句：I‘d think it worth while to go. Do you think it’s worth while quarrelling with me?
你认为与我吵值得吗?
3、句子成分不同
worthy表示“应得，配得上，值得”，常作表语或后置定语。
例句：His behaviour is worthy of great praise.
他的行为应受到高度赞扬。
worthwhile表示“值得的，值得干的，值得花时间/金钱/精力的”，可作定语、表语或宾补。
例句：Nursing is a very worthwhile career. 护理是很值得干的职业。
