1、冠词a还可以作per用，如we go on holiday twice a year, 也可以说成we go on holiday twice per year，我们每年旅游2次
2、the+比较级，the+比较级句型中的the不是冠词而是副词，如the higher the temperature, the more liquild evaporates, 温度越高，蒸发的液体就越多
3、有时用the +单数名词（可数名词）表示全类属，意味着把这一类属和另一类属相比，如the telephone was invented in 1876电话发明于1876年
4、当单数的可数名词前面的形容词有so, as, how, however, too修饰时，不定冠词只能置于形容词后，如he has obtained so precise a result
5、定冠词遇到all, both, quite, half, twice ,double, three times等词语时，通常后置，如both the answers are wrong这两个答案都是错的
6、有些普通名词前不能加不定冠词，如advice, equipment, furniture, information,corn, electr足毂忍珩icity,laughter, thunder, darkness等
